Allison Beresford

Spin, TRX

Allison has a life-long love of movement. She is a former athlete in tennis, track and field, and basketball, and has continued to explore new forms of movement as an adult, like strength training, TRX, dance, yoga, barre, and pilates. Originally a Truve client for six years, Allison became a group fitness instructor to share her love of fitness with Truve clients and the community. 

Allison’s spin and TRX classes are challenging, full of variety, and most of all, very fun. Ever-changing spin and TRX workouts and playlists will keep you energized and motivated. As someone who has experienced injuries from distance running, Allison loves spin because it is an accessible cardiovascular training modality for all ages and fitness levels. Allison always offers modifications and challenges in her classes so students can adjust their workouts.

Outside of fitness, Allison works as an analyst in the public sector and understands the importance of maximizing workouts in between your 9-to-5. Allison loves dancing samba, travel, going to concerts, and hiking in the Bay Area. She deeply values the community in Oakland and teaches free community spin core classes twice a month.
