Pilates Reformer
Alexis discovered Pilates in 2005 through a rehab program for a back injury. She found that not only did Pilates help her recover and prevent further injury, it also provided for functional movement and strength in both athletic endeavors and everyday life. She’s been an avid practitioner ever since. Alexis’ philosophy is that there is something in Pilates for every body - from the athlete looking to enhance their performance to the novice gym-goer looking to get fit, and everyone in between.
Alexis has been a fitness enthusiast most of her life. In addition to Pilates, she enjoys cycling, swimming, hiking, the occasional triathlon, and pretty much anything that keeps her moving. She is also a civil rights attorney, and finds that practicing and teaching Pilates helps bring a balance to her life.
Alexis is a graduate of the Polestar Pilates teacher training program, and a Nationally Certified Pilates Teacher (NCPT).
