Andrea Cameron (Rush)


Certifications: Group Fitness (A.C.E.), 200HR RYT, CPR

Originally from South Carolina, Andrea has lived in Oakland since 2013, having moved here from New Orleans, Louisiana, where we was attending law school. Her love and passion for movement began at a very young age in the form of dance.  Throughout her childhood and through college and graduate school, Andrea trained in ballet, contemporary, tap, and jazz dance. During graduate school, she developed a passion for fitness and training outside of dance, falling in love with yoga, Pilates, and strength training. 

In 2015, Andrea began teaching group fitness in San Francisco at a boutique barre/Pilates/yoga influenced studio and has taught at numerous studios and gyms around the Bay Area since.  She joined Truve's team in January of 2016, as a Barre instructor.  After nearly 10 years of practicing yoga, in April of 2017 Andreapursued her love of asana, receiving a 200 Hr YTT from Hot Spot Yoga Oakland. She teaches resistance training (TRX), yoga, and combination classes (Barre-X and Yoga Barre HIIT) at Truve. She looks forward to having you in class! 

Truve practitioners loves giving back to the community, and Andrea volunteers with Friends of Lake Merritt.
