My name is Alana Michele Woodschan. I was introduced to the world of fitness and wellness during childhood, and have now been a Fitness Professional for the last eight years. The fuel for my passion to become a Fitness Trainer started during my first year of college, as my friends and I gained our freshmen fifteen. My colleagues looked to me to guide them towards health due to my sports background in basketball, track and volleyball; that was the first step in recognizing that I could be a fitness leader.
My style of training incorporates core stability, dynamic muscle strength and mobility enhancement through the use of techniques such as myofascial release, isolated muscle activation, and balancing drills. When training, my goal is to recognize, address and strengthen areas of the body that is most challenged. Along with my studies in Traditional Chinese Medicine, I've developed the understanding that in order to gain, we must retrain- body, mind, soul and spirit.
