Stephanie Comella

“I facilitate movement development through education and exploration. With an emphasis on mastering the foundations, my coaching encourages intentional movement with control and integration.”

Stephanie's study of fitness, movement and rehabilitation started at UC Davis while earning her bachelor's degree in Exercise Biology. She taught group fitness classes at the at the university recreation center (starting in 2008) and worked for two years as a student athletic trainer for university's Division I athletes. After college, Stephanie quickly found a passion for working with people who had suffered traumatic neurological injuries. She worked for over four years helping people suffering for severe paralysis re-grain function and independence through exercise-based therapy.

In 2015, she transitioned into a more mindful movement approach, completing the Balanced Body Comprehensive Pilates Teacher training and became a fully Certified Pilates Teacher with the Pilates Method Alliance in 2017. Since then, Stephanie continues to expand her education by attending the annual PMA conference and other specialty workshops.
